We find hidden sewage pollution — and fix it.

Our detection dogs sniff drain lids, pinpoint misconnections, and help get repairs done — starting in the River Wye catchment.

The problem:

Sometimes a home gets an extension, a kitchen refit, or a new utility room — and a waste pipe is accidentally connected to a rainwater drain instead of the foul sewer. That means wastewater from washing machines, sinks, showers or dishwashers can flow straight into brooks and rivers. It can go unnoticed for years.

Why it matters:

A single misconnected washing machine can send thousands of litres of greywater into waterways each year. That’s effectively sewage going to the wrong place — into the river, not the sewer. Multiply that across a neighbourhood and the impact on river health, wildlife and water quality adds up fast.

How it works:

Sniff – screen drains fast

Map – record evidence + map findings.

Fix – coordinate the repair

Restore – follow up and report
